MERRY CHRISTMAS

It's been a month since we added things. Last night was Vicky's side of the family Christmas @ Val & KCs. Lisa; Steve, Gina & the kids; Robbin & Dennis; Kyla & Derrick; Jon, Amber & son + 1/2; Jessica, Chad & the boys & us made it.

Today was Ken's side at our house, since Ken was working. G&G, The Postels & The Halseys made it. Of course Hunter & Ian got the most. Ian decided that Papa Jack was his friend today. At times Papa, little grandma & nana were ditched. He knew what he was doing as when he wouldn't come to us he smiled & laughed.

Andrea & Tiff called to make the day. It would be nice to send some of this cold & snow out to them, just to bring back old times.

This is short as it was a very long day & Vicky has collaped with her blanket in her chair, with a smile on her face.

Nov. 23

Well after a several days of the blogger site telling us that our e-mail address did not exist & wouldn't let us in, a belated HAPPY THANKSGIVING --- GO PACKERS --

We went to Brenda & Jasons for dinner G & G were there and grandma was walking without a cane. Ken's jealous as grandma is up walking around alot faster then he ever made it.

Thanksgiving night we watched Hunter & Ian, so Jessica & Chad could hit Black Friday. Ian had a rough night & was up and down all night. (so was Vicky)

Of course we had cameras but they stayed in their case and no photos were taken at the dinner nor when the kids were over. Kens slipping.

Exciting week

What a week - our oldest hit her 1st anniversary of her 29th birthday & our youngest finally hit 21. We went out to eat @ Applebees & she ordered her drink. Of course I commented that it was her 21st birthday, so the waitress kind of looked up & said sorry I'm going to need to see your ID. You would think that she would have it in hand to show off, but no, find the purse, get it out & then show it.

Well anyway. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS. and since we didn't have the blog up & running for Tiff - HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY.

Grandma is up & running, OK she's up and moving with the walker. Our little birdie has been letting us know hows she doing & her exercises (thanks grandpa)

It's VETERANS DAY: A BIG THANK YOU to grandpa for his past service to the country & Jarrod for his current service. Also to all the other in the services.

One of these days maybe we will be able to post photos again

Grandma's surgery went good. They told us 1 1/2 - 2 hrs & they were done in 1 1/4 hrs. Hopefully things just went good & the surgeons weren't having a contest at that time to see who could finish 1st. PT hooked her up to a machine that automatically bends her knee. After effects of the surgery & the pain meds must have been kicking in. She woke up for them to put the machine on & back to sleep. She should be home by the week-end. Thanks for the prayers.
